Finish My Fan Fiction!

It has been just over two years since the Void Card was returned to the Clow Book, now referred to as the Sakura  Book.  Things were back to normal with nothing unusual happening since then.  Kero and Yue went on a quest to track down some of the magical items left by Clow Reed with the help of Li's family.

One night, the Sakura Book started glowing.  A red glow surrounded the Sakura Book, making the entire room turn bright red, waking up Sakura from her sleep.  A rock came crashing through the window, startling Sakura as she jumped out of bed.  After grabbing her baton, she crawled over to the rock, which had a message attached to it.  It read, "I'm here for your book and your cards! I want revenge!"

"What does this mean?" Sakura asked herself.  Sakura quietly walked across her room, grabbing the Sakura Book off the desk, still glowing red, and looked out the window, where she saw a figure in the shadows.  "Who are you?"

"I am the greatest magician of all time, and have come to settle the score! My Suzaku Cards are stronger than Clow Reed's cards ever were! Now get him down here!"

"But Clow Reed isn't here, he died a long time ago, and..."

"Enough!  WINDY, RELEASE! Blow her out of that house and down here now!"  The strange figure in shadow threw out a card and hit it with his staff, similar to how Li use to do it all those years ago with his sword.

"It looks like my Windy Card, but darker with red eyes, could this be the evil double? AHHH!" Sakura was swept out of the house and landed in the bushes below.  "I don't know who you are, but Clow Reed isn't here.  I'm Sakura and these cards are mine now!"

"I don't care, I'm going to defeat Clow Reed's cards no matter what, and so no one will disturb us, SHIELD CARD, RELEASE!"  A huge light purple bubble surrounded the entire block where Sakura's house was.  At that instant, Li suddenly woke up from his sleep with fear in his eyes, never feeling such an evil presence before.  Kero and Yue also both sensed something was wrong immediately.

Kero said, "I know that presence but after all this time?"

Yue replied, "I feared this day would come, Suzaku must have known we weren't there.  We must hurry back now!"

"What is it?" asked Li's mother?

Kero explained, "only known to Yue and myself, back in the early days when Clow Reed was creating the Clow Cards, a magician known as Suzaku Sombra cast a very ancient spell, to copy all of Clow Reeds cards at the same time, making his own duplicate cards, with the same magic powers and everything.  The only thing is, Clow Reed had only made 15 Clow Cards at that time.  Clow new something was wrong when they glowed bright red for a moment, but couldn't figure out why.  Then weeks later, he was challenged by Suzaku, using his version of Clow's cards.  When the Clow Cards glowed red again, Clow knew what had happened.  However, Clow Reed was able to defeat him since he had made other Clow Cards that Suzaku had not copied.  Those that glowed red were frightened and couldn't be used, Clow had a hard time and was injured in that battle too, his first real adversary and rival.  We were asked to keep this a secret in fear that someone else would attempt this same magic by copying the cards.  Suzaku was sealed away, but must of some how escaped and seeking revenge.  Oh no, SAKURA!!!"

Suzaku said, "Now we finish this, SWORD CARD, RELEASE!"

...oh no!  What will happen to Sakura?  She is in shock to see the same cards she loves so much being used against her!  What will she do?  What does Sukazu look like?  Will Li, Kero, or Yue get there in time to help?  Even if they do, can they get past Suzaku's Shield Card?  Will Sakura figure out the secret of which cards were copied and which ones weren't?  Finish my fan fiction! I must know how this story ends!!!

 Oh no, SAKURA!!!"
Suzaku said, "Now we finish this, SWORD CARD, RELEASE!"

Sakura stood directly in the path of the Suzaku Sword Card, unable to move, eyes widening
as the Sword duplicated itself over and over and over again. Suddenly there was a flash of light and the Evil Sword
 Card was no more.
"WHAT?!?!?! IMPOSSIBLE!" Screeched Suzaku, jolting Sakura out
of her shocked state. The young lady blinked, as if just awakening, and then looked up to catch sight of one of her
 beloved Sakura Cards, The Erase.
~Mistress!~ Came the frantic, genderless call of her
card, echoing in her mind. ~Forgive me for fleeing The Realm without summons, but you must not let this evil man
defeat you!!! Steel yourself against the copycat cards, Mistress! I was warned of this-~

Before The Erase could say or do more, It was enveloped in Shadow, a pure evil black mass with odd-looking red
ovals dotting Its exterior. Out of no where, the red ovals snapped open to reveal sinister, white, glowing eyes.
At the same time, leaves and vines shot out at Sakura from a different location, wrapping themselves around her
tightly before strong trees sprouted out of the earth and encased her in a Woody-prison.

Sakura's eyes welled up with tears as recognition hit her. She couldn't possibly hurt the beautiful and gentle Wood
card, regardless of whether or not it was a double. It was just like hers!
An evil
cackle sounded from the other side of Sakura's prison, and slow footsteps carefully made their way towards her.

"You know," began the man, his tone of voice none too pleasant.
"I'm not sure HOW you managed to summon that Card, or how it in turn managed to destroy my modified and more
powerful Card, but no matter. I, Suzaku Sombre, shall end your life and take control of the Clow Book and all the
 Clow Cards held within!"
+In the meantime, within "The Realm", also
 known as the Sakura Book+
Firey's eyes snapped open. "Something is not right,"
It said, sensing a pulse of evil within Its world. It looked over at Its companion and frowned. "What is the matter,
Watery? Why do you shake so?"
"Do you not feel it, fellow Elemental?
Do you not feel... The Evil One?" Replied the blue creature, coiling tightly around itself, eyes wide
 with slight pain and fear.
Firey snarled suddenly and fled the area, winking out
of existence before reappearing in another part of The Realm. A quick glance around the area, and the fire
creature winked out a second time, only to reappear somewhere else once again.

"The Evil One-" Firey began to say.
"Has reappeared," said
the Light and Dark Cards in unison, standing side by side, their backs to the new arrival. Both turned to
face their visitor at the same time, studying Firey's eyes. "You are more angry than fearful,"
they both continued, floating towards the red creature. "Do you not fear for your friends' lives?"

Firey let out a low, angry rumble from deep in Its chest, but before It could
reply, the world around them rippled with evil.
"Our comrade has just fled
The Realm," The Light informed, regaining Its composure after the dark blast passed through. It continued
on in haste. "I am assuming he had no time to shut the portal behind him. Quickly! We must seal it before
 the toll is too great."
"NO!" Snarled Firey, winking out at the same
 time.
Light and Dark froze for a minute at the force of that single word. And then,
somwhere within The Realm, The Thunder beast made Its agony known with a bone chilling roar filled with great
pain. The wave of evil was still making its way through their world, and had found the first of its 15 targets.

"Quickly! Go to them and set the plan into motion!" Commanded the
lighter haired of the two sisters, quickly disappearing after Firey. Without delay, Dark set off to begin what
 had been planned for decades.
The Light Card kept appearing and disappearing at a
rapid pace in various places, following the traces of Firey which in turn seemed to be growing nearer and nearer
towards the portal from which evil flowed through.
"Firey, no! You cannot.
It is against the rules of The Realm. Only our friend Erase is allowed to pass through the Emergency Portal,"
exclaimed Light, finally catching up with the fire elemental.
Firey paused in front
of the large portal, a shimmering shape of the Sakura Book, and turned to face Its wise, female companion, eyes
filled with sorrow. "Do you not feel her despair?" It questioned. "It pulses all around me.
Around us. If you absolutely must seal this gate for the sake of the True Fifteen, do so. But our kind-hearted
Mistress cannot bring herself to attack the form of something she has come to love. I must help her recognize
what the Deceitful Fifteen truly are." And with that, Firey disappeared through the portal.

+Back in the real world+

"...I, Suzaku Sombre, shall end your life and take control of the Clow Book
and all the Clow Cards held within!"
Sakura began panicking as the vines grew
tighter and tighter, squeezing her body, tightening around her lungs and throat, slowly robbing her of the
crucial life-giving substance that hung silently around her. Desperately she tried to shift the thumb of her
right hand in an attempt to unclasp the Sakura Book, but to no avail.
Beyond the
boundaries of the Suzaku Shield, Li and the Two Guardians quickly approached, intent on reaching their beloved
Sakura before it was too late. From their position in the sky (Li was riding atop Keroberous) they immediately
took notice of the Shield, and Sakura's location as she was swallowed up by trees, and rapidly decended near there.

Li jumped off of the Guardian of the Seal and quickly ran towards the Shield.
But instead of walking right through it like he should have, being a person possessing magic, he got a nasty
shock on contact and was thrown back. Landing on his feet, Li wasted not time in attempting an attack on the
Shield. He wielded his sword and rushed towards it again, slicing through the purple substance easily. Then...
his sword stuck... and a charge of red lightning quickly worked its way up the blade and towards the handle,
where Li still held on tightly, attempting to force the sword through.

"LET GO!" Roared Keroberous, rushing towards the young man. But Yue beat him to it, tackling Li to
the ground and away from the sword right before it blasted the pent up energy outwards in the form of a red beam.

"It's useless," advised Yue, standing up and helping Li to his feet.
"This is not the Shield Card you know of. There is a dark, enigmatic power weaved into it. Suzaku's
 black magic."
"But I have to help Sakura! If I can just pull my sword
out I could try some magic," replied Li, walking towards his sword with fierce determination. But Keroberous
 blocked his path.
"Don't. You'll get yourself killed," said the lion.
"Allow Yue and I to try."
And so they did. But their efforts were in vain.
Neither Keroberous's firey breaths nor Yue's lightning arrows could penetrate the Shield. And so, they turned
their faces towards the oddly placed patch of thick trees and the shadowy figure slowly approaching it.

"Why isn't she doing anything? Why won't she fight back?!"
Growled Li, pounding on the Shield regardless of the fact that it
shocked him. "FIGHT BACK SAKURA!" He called out desperately. "FIGHT BACK!"

Suddenly there was a small pink glow shining through Sakura's encasement, and
before anyone could blink, the thicket burst into flames and receded, leaving behind an evil creature very
similar to Sakura's Wood Card. Despite its heavy wounds, the Suzaku Wood Card managed a purely evil snarl
directed towards Its attacker. Firey had appeared to aid Its Mistress.

~See what it is?~ Pointed Firey, communicating telepathically with Sakura. ~See how it snarls? These Evil
creatures may have the form of your beloved Cards, but they are not them! If you do not fight back, we will
 all be tainted and destroyed!~
"I CALL UPON THE SUZAKU CARDS WATERY AND
EARTHY!" Shrieked Suzaku Sombre, clearly agitated by the appearance of yet another of the Sakura Cards.

The Evil Watery wasted no time in attacking Sakura's Firey, chasing after
It through the skies, hurling huge amounts of water at It in an attempt to extinguish Its armor of fire.
Due to worriedly watching Firey, it took a while for Sakura to realize that the earth had started to rumble
beneath her feet, and that vines had slowly wrapped around her ankles, rooting her to that spot. The Suzaku
Wood card was apparently spending all that was left of Its life and energy on this final task. The earth
 began to split open...
"FLY CARD!" Sakura commanded with her mind
and voice, opening the Sakura Book. For the past two years she had been practicing summoning her creatures
without the use of a wand, if only to keep in practice and to get to know her creatures as well as keep
 them in practice too.
But something went very wrong... Sakura's precious Fly
Card didn't even attempt to release itself into the material world, and so she slowly began to plummet
into the dark abyss below her feet. And as she fell, she heard Suzaku begin to laugh triumphantly. Her
precious Firey screeched in horror as It watched Its mistress disappear under ground, the momentary
distraction lending Evil Watery an advantage against Its opponent. Firey's flaming exterior began to
diminish rapidly as the weight of Watery surrounded and crushed It, trapping Firey between cold earth
 and liquid water.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Cried Li, Yue and Keroberous
in unison as they witnessed Sakura's disappearance, all three rushing at Suzaku's Shield at the same
time. The weight of their sudden existence, love and determination crashing into the Shield came as a painful
shock to Suzaku, whose concentration (in keeping the Shield intact) faltered for a mere 3 seconds, allowing
our three heroes through and releasing Li's sword (which Li managed to whisk away).

Before any of Yue's arrows or any of Keroberous's fire blasts could reach Suzaku, the evil man had managed to
quickly draw in the Shield and wrap It around himself, as opposed to the whole neighborhood. And before Li could
make any attempted dash towards the hole in the earth: "SUZAKU FIGHT CARD!" An opponent materialized
infront of Li and attacked, keeping him from reaching Sakura.
Before the two
Guardians realized that their fellow young man was being attacked and could not aid their Mistress, the
Float Card burst through the hole in the ground, and safely atop the balloon was Sakura. But not for long.
Evil Windy (who was released to force Sakura out of the house) blew past and managed to throw the young lady
 off the Float Card.
Sakura landed near Firey with a big thud, her Sakura Book
clutched tightly to her chest. She opened her eyes and locked her sight onto dying ember orbs.

"No..." she whispered, slowly sitting up and taking in the whole
scene of Evil Watery suffocating Firey. "NO!" She screamed, jumping to her feet. "CHANGE
CARD!" Sakura frantically summoned the little furry creature in hopes that It would come forth. She
didn't know why her Fly Card hadn't appeared, and was half consumed by the fear that many more wouldn't
answer her call. To her immense relief, the Change Card came through and used Its powers to switch only
the CONDITION of Firey and Evil Watery's bodies. Its training for the past two years allowed Change to
discover that it could change much more subtle things, instead of simply making two beings switch bodies.

Sakura quickly returned Float, Change and Firey to their Card forms, watching
as Evil Watery's form slowly took on a red hue before going completely red and reshaping into a little ball,
which then flew straight into the outstretched hand of Suzaku.
And then she
was in the air, completely restrained by Evil Windy's grasp, along with Li and her two Guardians.

"What kind of creature was that, girl?" Spat Suzaku, stalking
closer to the group in the air, his Evil Earthy emerging out of the ground to join him along with the
Evil Fight Card. Suzaku's sinister green eyes narrowed as his long, pin-straight red hair whipped around
his face in a menacing way. "How is it that one moment my Watery was defeating your fire creature,
and the next moment I was forced to soakup what remained of Its magical life? I had to do the same with
my beautiful Wood Card. You have destroyed three of my creatures while I have yet to kill one of yours.
 ANSWER ME YOU FOOLISH CHILD!"
"I didn't destory them. YOU did,"
she retorted. "If you had any care for them you would have called them back instead of forcing them to
 fight to the death."
"Who are you to scrutinize my methods?!?!?! I
am not the one suspended in air, unable to move, unable to summon." Suzaku smirked, twirling his staff.
"You," he ordered, pointing at his earth elemental. "Begin a rockslide. I want boulders to
simply materialize above these useless beings and bash into their skulls. Those Clow Cards are mine!"

'Oh no!' Thought Sakura, futilely struggling against the chains of wind. But
it was no use. She had to think of something quickly! Looking up above her, she watched as a black hole
formed and the first of the huge rocks emerged. She couldn't think of anything. She needed more time!

"Time... TIME CARD!" She summoned hesitantly, knowing that it
would drain her quickly if she kept it in use too long.
Instantly, everything
 froze.
"Quick, any ideas?!" She asked, turning to her friends.
Keroberous and Yue were completely unscathed, but Li was as beat up as the Suzaku Fight Card seemed to
 be.  All three looked exhausted.
The
giant lion couldn't respond at all due to his muzzle being sealed shut by a chain of wind, obviously to
keep him from breathing anymore fire onto his opponents.
"Perhaps the
Through Card," suggested Yue. "Make it so that these boulders pass right through us."

Deciding that it was as good a plan as any, Sakura wasted no time in
recalling the energy-draining Time Card and summoning the Through at the same moment. She knew she had to
think of something else quickly, because even though the Through didn't cost her as much as the Time, it
would still continue to deplete her energy and magical sources as long as they remained transparent.

But they didn't calculate the fact that becoming transparent would release
Evil Windy's hold on them. And although they weren't that far up from the ground, it came as a shock when
they all fell and hit grass. A shock that cost Sakura her concentration on the Through Card, and It
automatically returned to The Realm before she could grasp it once more.

Immediately she was enveloped in large, protective wings. Looking up, she watched as Yue visibly battled
against the intense pain each rock brought him, wincing as the weight of each crashed onto him and made
him stagger. Sakura was horrified. And her fear bred anger. Anger and determination. No doubt Keroberous was
protecting Li and going through the same thing Yue was going through. She had to end this!

"SMALL! SHOT! SAND! LOOP! RELEASE!!!" Sakura's eyes glowed bright emerald as she gathered magic around her
like a cloak. She had never summoned four cards at once, never thought of doing so and never had to. But now she
needed to.
Within a second the entire battle scene had twisted. There were no longer
any huge boulders falling onto the Guardians, only the tiniest of pebbles. The Evil Fight Card no longer stood
next to Its master, smirking arrogantly. Instead, It was too busy dodging shots of energy. Evil Windy was stuck
in an infinite loop, unable to come to the aid of Its comrades. Suzaku and Earthy were slowly being sucked into
a whirlpool of sand.
Suzaku Sombre was momentarily confused, wondering how they had
managed to escape his Windy's grasps, but it didn't take him too long to realize he was sinking along side his
earth elemental.
"FLY!" Within an instant, dark wings sprouted out of his
shoulder blades and he managed to flap away from danger, leaving his Earthy to Its fate. Suzaku never realized that
the whirlpool of sand had sucked in the Evil Shield during the his momentary confusion... But Sakura did.
"His Shield!" She whispered fiercely, facing her Guardians. They both
looked at her for a moment then turned to look at the man soaring high into the air. Both grinned and took off
after Suzaku.
"Are you alright?" Li asked Sakura, catching hold of her
shoulders and hugging her as she swayed slightly. "You're using too much magic and energy," he explained,
taking a look around him. "Why don't you call back your Sand Card? That Earthy Double is gone."
Sakura shook her head. "Not yet. As long as these small pebbles keep falling,
Suzaku's Earthy still has power. And life."
"The Shot, then. Call it back.
I can finish off that Evil Fight Card." Li turned to the girl beside him. "Call It back, Sakura",
he said sternly, yet not unkindly.
The Card Mistress managed a small smile and gave a
slight nod before cutting off the vein of energy and magic she was feeding to the Shot.

The Shot suddenly disappeared, leaving behind Its worn out and confused opponent. It didn't take long for Suzaku's
Fight to set Its sights back on Its original adversary.
Sakura knew how much of a
beating Li had sustained and wasn't about to let him spar with the Evil Fight Card for very long. She was going
to help him finish it off as soon as possible. And so she silently called the Power, and lended Its magical
abilities to Li. This Card didn't require as much of an effort to feed as the Shot did, being a dormant power
instead of an active offensive one.
Li braced himself, going into his famous battle
stance, and trained his eye on the Fight Card as the latter zigzagged towards him at a baffling speed. He felt a
powerful surge course through him and knew right away what Sakura had done.
'I'm in
love with a fool,' he thought happily, resolving to end the duel as soon as possible to relieve Sakura of her
efforts to direct magic towards the Power Card. 'If only I had my sword.' Li side-glanced to his right and spied
his magical weapon, laying right where it had fallen when Evil Windy had swept him up into the air and held him
prisoner. Although his sight lay with his sword, his other senses were tuned into the oncoming enemy. He had to
wait for just the right moment.
Suddenly the blur that had been advancing on the two
former-Cardcaptors was stopped dead in Its tracks. Sakura looked around Li's shoulder and watched as Suzaku's
Fight Card slowly crumbled to the floor. Li lowered his unwavering right leg back to the ground and fetched his
sword.
Sakura turned away, unwilling to witness what Li must do to the irreversibly
evil being that lay in front of him. It wasn't these creatures' fault that they were tainted with the evil of
Suzaku Sombre. And as a tear slid down her cheek, the last of the pebbles bounced off her nose and she slowly
severed the thread of magic she had with The Sand and The Small, causing Them to automatically return to Card
Form.
And then Keroberous crashed heavily besides her, causing her to jump a few
feet in the air before rushing towards the beast.
"What going on?!" She
asked, frightened. She had been so preoccupied with Li and the Fight that she had almost completely forgotten
about her Guardians.
Keroberous struggled to get up but only succeeded in falling
right back down.
"LOOK OUT!" Came Yue's voice, booming from above.
Before Sakura had anytime to react, she came crashing to the ground with Li ontop
of her.
"He's summoned the Thunder Card double," said Li, rolling off of
her and quickly helping her up. And as she watched him run off before she could say anything, her eyes fell upon
a gigantic red beast. Suzaku's Thunder card had managed to pin Keroberous under It and was digging Its claws into
the Guardian's flesh.
"THUNDER GOD! ANSWER MY CALL!" Raising his sword, Li
directed a burst of lightning towards the electrifying Card, causing It to hurl backwards and land on Its side
with an earthshaking thud. The evil beast roared angrily. And then suddenly It quieted... and the entire hulk of
Its body flickered white. And Sakura's eyes grew wide.
"Do that again, Li!"
She called out, running towards the young man as Suzaku's Thunder went back to red and started to charge.
"THUNDER GOD! ANSWER MY CALL!" Another burst of lightning and the Evil
Thunder Card flickered white again, only for a longer period of time. And the beast took on a look of confusion
for a moment before returning to Its original red color and advancing once again.

"KEEP DOING IT!" Yelled Sakura, sounding excited for some uknown reason. And as she heard "THUNDER
GOD! ANSWER MY CALL!" over and over again, she turned to watch Yue spar with SUzaku. But something else
caught her eye.
The Evil Windy Card had discovered the Loop, and was lashing out at the thin red line with sharp thorns and leaves that
It had whirlwinded over. Although not as effective as a sword, the thorns and leaves were still slowly wearing away at
the Loop Card. This didn't alarm Sakura much, simply because she had time to think about how to defeat the evil
Windy. And so she relieved Loop of Its duty.
Moments after the Freeze was summoned,
Suzaku's Windy Card literally froze and crashed to the floor, shattering into a million pieces. All Its pieces
turned red and flew past Sakura and up into the sky where the Evil Suzaku Sombre glowed an alarming dark red,
his hair standing straight up. Yue was no where in sight... Yue was NO WHERE in sight.

'No where...' thought Sakura, her body numbing all over. She couldn't sense him. SHE COULDN'T SENSE HIM!!!
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO WINDY?! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO MY WINDY?!?!
YOU WRETCHED-"
Suzaku Sombre plummeted to the ground as a block of ice and
met the same fate as his precious Windy. But instead of turning red, the sparkly pieces of ice simply broke
up into tiny fragments and floated away, disappearing one by one.
Sakura sunk to
the ground and burst into tears. Li rushed over, having witnessed what happened, and figured that his love
was shooken up by what she had just done.
~Why do you weep?~ came a genderless
mental-call. The Erase hovered near the couple, having been released from Suzaku's Shadow when It (the Evil
Shadow) suddenly faded away. ~He was an evil man and there was no other way around it. If you had done what
Clow Reed had done, if you had let him and his vile Creatures live, this man would have simply appeared yet
again.~
"Y-Yue," Sakura managed to choke out, burying her face into Li's
shoulder. The young man's body stiffened and he quickly tuned into his senses, searching for the distinct
mystical waves that belonged to Yue. He found none.
Suddenly a nearby bush rustled
and a tall, thin shadow emerged, rubbing at it's head. The Erase quickly retreated back to The Realm.
"Sakura? Oh my god, Sakura are you okay?! What happened?"
Sakura and Li's eyes widened.

"Julian?" Squeaked Sakura, slowly standing up to stumble towards the new arrival. "JULIAN!"
She exclaimed happily, rushing towards the older guy and hugging him. "What happened to you? Why couldn't
I sense you?!"
"Well, Sakura," began Julian, patting the girl on
the shoulder. "It seemed you were running out of power. Yue noticed and decided to lend you his, which
resulted in him not being able to hold his shape. He miscalculated how much magic and energy he had left,
not realizing how much his fight with Suzaku had taken. I tried to warn him, but you know... he never listens,"
Julian said, smiling warmly.
And then came a thick, deep laugh.
"What the..." Julian whispered in astonishment, looking over Sakura's
head. Li quickly whipped around to see what it was while Sakura twisted away from Julian to get a look as well.
About 20 feet away was Keroberous, flat on his back, with a mini thunder-beast
romping around on his belly.
"Hahaha," Keroberous continued his laughter.
"Sakura! Sakura can we keep him?!"
Sakura's jaw dropped.
"Oh come on! Please? Look at how cute and little he is hahaha."

+Fast forward a week+
Kero glared at Rai, the mini thunder-beast, as it rolled around happily on Sakura's bed.
"Let's get rid of him," he suggested evilly, extending his
miniature claws in a poor imitation of Wolverine. He had just got through turning off the TV because
he couldn't concentrate on The X-Men with an energetic pet behind him.

Rai pounced on Kero and panted happily, letting some drool slide onto Kero's face and down his tiny
cheek.
"EWWW! SA-KU-RA! Rai just spit on meeeeeeeeeee," whined
Kero, trying to push the miniature thunder-beast off of him.
Sitting at
her desk, Sakura turned away from the letter she was writing to her bestfriend and smiled at the two.
The past week had been quite amusing. From drooling on Kero to eating his sweets, happy little Rai
always had the Guardian of the Seal whining about one thing or the other. But Sakura knew that Kero
was happy with Rai around... at least most of the time.
"Now now,
Rai," she chided half-heartedly. And then she turned right back to her letter.

"WHAT? That's it?! That's all you're going to do? I am APPALLED by your heartless-ness,"
declared Kero, struggling to get out from underneathe the chubby beast. "I cannot BELIEVE that
you would just..."
But Kero's voice faded as Sakura picked up her
pen and continued writing: ...Gosh Madison, that night I crawled into bed sooo exhausted. It wasn't
until the next day that I got an explanation of the whole INSANE ordeal. It turns out that, during
the time of Clow Reed, Suzaku Sombre had made copies of half the Clow Cards, despite what Keroberous
and Yue were told. When Clow found out what was going on, he quickly created the Erase and ordered it
to go forth and erase all the duplicates it could find. Unfortunately, Suzaku was able to gather and
protect 15 of those Cards. That is when Clow found it fit to warn the Guardians and the rest of the
Clow Cards, for it was now a far more serious matter. He hadn't wanted to alarm them before, but now
he had no choice since the Erase wasn't able to erase all the duplicates.

It wasn't very long after that Suzaku's greed overcame his fear of losing more cards, and he sought
after the rest of the Clow Cards. Luckily Clow Reed was able to defeat him, and sealed Suzaku and his
duplicate cards into a Prison Realm he had constructed. And so Suzaku worked on his Suzaku Cards,
weaving ancient magics into their very beings, granting them the power to do such as they couldn't do
before. How Suzaku managed to live all these years is beyond me, but little Rai believes that Suzaku
had created a new creature, one that resembled him exactly, and stored his soul, magic and energy within
the creature. He was determined to get revenge. He was determined to gain control of the Clow Cards.
The Erase told me that after sealing the evil man, Clow Reed decided to
take no chances in believing that there wouldn't be another like Suzaku, or that Suzaku wouldn't escape.
He called upon all his Clow Cards to discuss the matter and discovered something horrible. Those who
had been duplicated felt pain when Suzaku was near. And even greater pain when their Realm opened to
release a Clow Card that he (Clow) had called. Everything fell into place. Suzaku didn't create those
duplicate Cards simply to defeat Clow Reed and gain control of the Clow Cards. It wasn't that simple.
He meant for the duplicates to enter The Realm and kill off the pure-doubles (which Firey also called
"the True Fifteen") and take their place, thus infecting the rest of the Clow Cards with Suzaku's
evil and putting them under his control.
And so they constructed a plan.
An Emergency Portal would be created for The Erase, so that It could release itself into the real world
when it sensed Suzaku, or another like Suzaku (one who had used the Ancient Duplicating spell), and
quickly try to get rid of the false Cards. As soon as Erase escaped, It would seal the Portal. However,
in case It was not able to, the Portal would immediately be sealed by The Light and Dark Cards to minimize
the pulse of evil throughout The Realm. The True Fifteen would all be gathered as far away from the portal
as possible before being put to sleep by The Sleep. Clow Reed believed that, like humans, the Clow Cards
would feel no pain during slumber. But in case the evil of the spell could find them in their dreams, The
Dream was issued to keep it at bay and to create a happy scene within each of their subconscious minds. And
last, but certainly not least, to protect their outerforms from being eaten at by the evil waves, The Rain
was to constantly cleanse them with pure water in an attempt to diminish the affects of those harmful waves.
It was a really good plan in my opinion. I'm sure I couldn't have thought of anything like that.
Anyway, the Erase also apologized for being captured before it could do
away with more than just that Evil Sword Card. Apparently Suzaku's Shadow card was altered to not only
encase an opponent in shadow, but also to strip them of their powers as long as they're in there. No wonder The
Erase couldn't just erase Evil Shadow. I was wondering about that.
Hmmm... I feel
like I'm forgetting something...
Oh yes! Rai! Cute, adorable little Rai. He's really
very intelligent, despite the drooling hehehe. I think he only does that to annoy Kero. He's never drooled on me!
But anyway, dad loves him too! I don't know what Tori thinks though. I think he likes him as well. I've seen
him give the little beast some of his dinner.
So why is Rai so miniature anyway?
And why isn't he evil? And why hasn't he grown at all? I'm sure you're asking all these questions in your mind,
Madison. Well, since I can communicate with him the same
way I do with my own Sakura Cards, he was able to tell me. Apparently, during the fight between Suzaku and Clow,
Clow managed to turn Rai permanently small! That's why he's tiny and that's why he's not growing! Suzaku had no
idea how to turn him back or even to call him back. Rai says that once Suzaku summoned a Card, he wasn't able
to return it to Card form. I still don't understand why, but Rai said something about how the Suzaku Cards had
no Realm to return to, and once they were out of Card Form, the card disappeared and they no longer had a place
but the real world. He says Suzaku was never powerful enough to construct a realm, even though he tried numerous
times. That's why he wanted to take over the Clow Card- errr, I mean Sakura Card Realm! Anyway, it's confusing
to me so I guess I'll stop trying to understand it for now...
I asked Rai if he knew
which Cards Suzaku had duplicated and he gave me this list of them:
Sword
Shield
Watery
Wood
Earthy
Fight
Fly
Windy
Shadow
Thunder
Illusion
Mist
Voice
Storm
Lock
Man he had three
of the elementals! Thank god he didn't have a copy of Firey, otherwise I don't know what would have happened.
Either way, I now understand why the Fly never came when I called. That was really scary,
Madison!
But anywho, When Li
called upon the Thunder God and directed the power towards Rai, the pure magic of the God consumed some of the evil
that bound Rai to Suzaku. I noticed this and told Li to keep going. It wasn't until later, when I really thought
about it, that I became heartbroken thinking about all those other creatures that died when they could have been
cleansed of Suzaku's evil. But Rai assured me that it wouldn't have worked on them, that Suzaku had a much stronger
link with those Cards than he did with Rai. He figured Rai was useless, being so small, and never really tweaked
him or paid much attention to him. "Why should I care about you when Suzaku Storm can do everything you can
and MORE?" He had told Rai. As far as I can tell, The Storm Card seemed to be Suzaku's favorite. I asked Rai
why he didn't just use it but he didn't know. Although, Yue thinks that maybe Suzaku was saving It for last, to
unleash It's powers on us when we're all beat down and tired. When there was less of a chance of us defeating his
favorite creature. I think that makes complete sense, don't you?
My little thunder-beast
also explained the reason why he looked so big to us during the battle. It was because Suzaku used the Illusion card.
And although his form was simply supposed to be an illusion, Suzaku had managed to tweak the Illusion Card so that it
all LOOKED and FELT real. Wow... I should try that with my Illusion Card. Then maybe I can have it take on the shape
of mom! Oh my god I could so do that! And I could get a hug! And pretend for just a little bit that she's still here.
God, I miss her so much. I can't wait to give it a try! Let me know what you think about the idea. I'm so excited just
thinking about it!
Well Madison, dad's calling me for dinner and my hand is about to
fall off from all this writing so I supposed I'll end this here. I'm including a picture of Rai so you can see how
adorable he is and maybe come back from England sooner! I miss you. Say hi to Eli and Ruby
Moon and Spinny for me. I can't wait to see you guys soon!
Yours truly,
Sakura Avalon

Written by M.J.

It has been just over two years since the Void Card was returned to the Clow Book, now referred to as the Sakura Book. Things went back to normal with nothing unusual happening since then. Kero and Yue went on a quest to track down some of the magical items left by Clow Reed with the help of Li’s family.

One night, the Sakura Book started glowing. A red glow surrounded the Sakura Book, making the entire room turn bright red, waking Sakura from her sleep. A rock came crashing through the window, startling Sakura as she jumped out of bed. After grabbing her baton, she crawled over to the rock which had a message attached to it. It read, “I’m here for your book and your cards! I want revenge!”

“What does this mean?” Sakura asked herself. Sakura quietly walked across her room, grabbing the Sakura book off the desk, still glowing red and looked out the window where she saw a figure in the shadows. “Who are you?”

“I am the greatest magician of all time, and have come to settle the score! My Suzaku Cards are stronger than Clow Reed’s cards ever were! Now get him down here!”

“But Clow Reed isn’t here, he died a long time ago and…”

“Enough! WINDY, RELEASE! Blow her out of that house and down here now!” The strange figure in shadow threw out a card and hit it with his staff, similar to how Li use to do it all those years ago with his sword.

“It looks like my Windy Card, but darker with red eyes, could this be the evil double? AHHH!” Sakura was swept out of the house and landed in the bushes below. “I don’t know who you are, but Clow Reed isn’t here. I’m Sakura and these cards are mine now!”

“I don’t care, I’m going to defeat Clow Reed’s cards no matter what, and so no one will disturb us, SHIELD CARD RELEASE!”  A huge light purple bubble surrounded the entire block where Sakura’s house was. At that instant, Li woke up from his sleep with fear in his eyes, never feeling such an evil presence before. Kero and Yue also both sensed something was wrong immediately.

Kero said, “I know that presence but after all this time?”

Yue replied “I feared this day would come, Suzaku must have known we weren’t there. We must hurry back now!”

“What is it?” asked Li’s mother.

Kero explained, “Only known to Yue and myself, back in the early days when Clow Reed was creating the Clow Cards, a magician known as Suzaku Sombra cast a very ancient spell, to copy all of Clow Reeds cards at the same time, making his own duplicate cards, with the same magic powers and everything. The only thing is Clow Reed had only made 15 Clow Cards at that time. Clow new something was wrong when they glowed bright red for a moment, but couldn’t figure out why. Then weeks later he was challenged by Suzaku, using his version of Clow Cards. When the Clow Cards glowed red again Clow knew what had happened. However Clow Reed was able to defeat him since he had made other Clow Cards that Suzaku had not copied. Those that glowed red were frightened and couldn’t be used, Clow had a hard time and was injured in that battle too, his first real adversary and rival. We were asked to keep this a secret in fear that someone else would attempt thinks same magic by copying the cards. Suzaku was sealed away, but must of some how escaped and seeking revenge. Oh no, SAKURA!!!”

Suzaku said, “Now we finish this, SWORD CARD, RELEASE!”

“AHHHHHH!” Sakura screamed as Suzaku flew at her with his sword.

Sakura had to think quickly if she were to survive.
“JUMP CARD!” Sakura leapt over Suzaku as he made an attempt to kill her.
He turned to her and smirked.

“What will you do? Run to Clow Reed for his help? Your weaker than I thought!”

“Don’t you understand Clow Reed is dead?!”

“ENOUGH! I have grown tired of your excuses, SAND CARD RELEASE!”

The sand began to swallow Sakura.

“AHHHHHH!” Suzaku cried out in pain as Li pieced him with his sword

“How dare you touch Sakura!” Li yelled at Suzaku and kicked him to the ground.

Li ran over to where Sakura lay on the ground covered in sand.

“Sakura are you alright?”

“I’m fine, just a little shook up” she replied dusting the sand off her.

Li turned to face Suzaku to find he had vanished.

“Damn it he’s gone”

“Hey Li how did you get though the shield he put up?”

“I opened the barrier for him” said Li’s mother who seemed to have appeared from nowhere.

Sakura jerked up in surprise.

“HOEEE!” she screamed to herself.

“Sakura, Li come along now it is not safe for you to be here now. Sakura return home for the night we’ll talk tomorrow.”

“Thanks for your help, but I don’t understand…”

Li’s mother put her hand on Sakura’s cheek.

“I am glad you are egger to solve this problem but your questions will be answered tomorrow. Do not worry yourself”.

Li walked over to Sakura and placed his index finger on her forehead and chanted something quietly. The last thing Sakura remembered was hearing Li saying “I want you to sleep peacefully and dreamless so don’t worry”.

Sakura awoke in her bed unknowingly how she got there. She turned her attention to the window, which had been smashed the previous evening to find that it had been repaired.
Sakura’s phone began to ring.

“Hello, Sakura speaking”

“Er…hi Sakura, it’s Li…”
She blushed at the sound of his name.

“…would you come over to my place in an hour? Kero, Yue and my mother wish to speak with you.”

“Sure thing, oh by the way thank for doing that spell you did to me last night it really helped.”

“Sure, anything for you Sakura” Li blushed as he spoke.

“Bye then, Li”

“Yeah, bye”

Elsewhere Suzaku plotted his revenge on Li and Sakura.

“Ahhh!” he cried as he felt the pain from his wound pounding throughout his body.

“That boy will pay for my injury with his own life. That girl has a lot of power but she barely used it, why has Clow sent a little child to do his battles? Once I have those cards I’ll kill the child and then Clow will know I am the superior being!”
Sakura was sat by the fire in Li’s apartment when she sensed that something was wrong, something terrible was going to happen. Kero who wanted to explain about Suzaku interrupted her thoughts.

“What’s up Sakura?” he questioned her.

“Oh…er nothing” she didn’t want to worry anyone she was picking up strange feelings.

After Kero and Yue had explained the past to Sakura she though to herself for a moment.

“So what can we do to stop Suzaku from taking the cards?”
Yue paused for a minute and remembered something.

“There is an ancient artifact that use to be in Clow Reed’s possession for a short while. He used it to destroy evil spirits and magic with it, however when he died it was left to an old friend of his.”

“Who was that?” Sakura questioned Yue

“Takamoto…” Li’s mother informed her.

“…,Takamoto was one of Clow’s closest friends. He died long after Clow and as far as I know he still had the artifact when he passed away.” Li’s mother sat beside her son.

Sakura stood and turned to them.

“Where is the artifact now?”

“Hong Kong” replied Kero

“I’m going to find it” Sakura stated.
There was a minute of silence

“Suzaku will follow you there” Yue snapped.

“Let him, then it will be easier to destroy him” Sakura smiled.

“Very well, we’ll leave tomorrow” Li’s mother calmly said.
Li walked Sakura home.

“Hey Sakura?”

“Yes?”

“Well…erm I’m glad your coming to Hong Kong, but aren’t you worried?”

“About what?”

“Well, one thing, your brother.”

“I’ll lie and say that I’m going with Madison. Actually I think she should come with us.”

“Yeah, and another thing aren’t you worried about battling Suzaku?”

They had reached Sakura’s home.

“Yes I am but I know that we can win this battle just like before. There really is nothing that keeps me from believing we can’t do this.”

Li seemed a bit worried until Sakura kissed his cheek and he nearly had heart failure!

“I’ll see you tomorrow Li. I’ll call Madison and let her know what’s happening.”

Li walked off still bright red. As Sakura watched him walk away she thought about the lie she just told him. There were dreams that had kept her from sleeping even through Li’s spell. Dreams of upset, pain and devastation. Dreams of his death.
As Sakura, Madison, Li and his mother bordered a flight to Hong Kong, Tori was talking to Julian on the phone.

“If anything happens to her I have no choice but to blame you!”

“That’s fine but I don’t think my other self likes that.”

“And make sure that Kid stays away from Sakura.”

“You know how Sakura feels about him, why can’t you just understand that?”

“Because it’s him, and I hate the Kid!”
As a car pulled up outside Li’s mansion four women were stood waiting for them, and there was another stood beside Wai.

“Hello mother!” they all said in union and gave her a low bow as she exited the car.

“Hello girls, if you don’t mind our guests would like a break so please do not hassle them!”

“Yes mother!”

She turned to Sakura and Madison.

“Please rest we have a lot of work ahead of us tomorrow.”
Suzaku felt Sakura’s aura had moved.
“Running to Clow Reed are you? I’ll have to stop you now, stupid, weak mortal!”
Suzaku’s wound had healed and had fully regained his powers. He cast a spell sending him to Hong Kong.
“I’ll find you child and your petty friend, my magic will find you no matter where you hide!”
Madison and Sakura were talking on a balcony later that evening.
“So, what is this artifact we’re searching for?”

“I’m not sure Yue believes it’s older than Takamoto and isn’t from Asia. We’re going to start researching it tomorrow.”

They pause for a couple of minutes as they watched the sunset over Hong Kong.

Madison smiled, “How are things with Li then?”

Sakura’s face bloomed with pink cheeks. “Er…well…it’s ok”

“Come on Sakura, he’s like your boyfriend now!”

“Who is?” said a surprised voice.

“HOEEEE! Meilin don’t creep up on us like that! You nearly gave me heart failure!” Sakura whined loudly.

“Gee get a grip, I just wanted to see how you two were I haven’t seen you for a while. Oh by the way Li’s mother wants to talk to you, now.”

“Ahhh! Did I do something wrong?”

“How should I know. Just hurry up and meet her will you.”
Sakura remembered this part of the grounds from her last visit (Movie 1) and saw Li’s mother standing waiting for her in the same place. Sakura slowly approached her.

“Erm..I heard you wanted to see me?”

“Sakura, like before I will help you if you help me.”

She understood. Sakura stood in the centre of the circle and allowed her to see into her dreams.
Everyone was stood inside some sort of temple facing Suzaku.
Yue and Kero took him on attacking him as hard as they could. Some how he managed to get past them. Li moved Sakura behind him in order to protect her from Suzaku’s next attack.
Suzaku turned to face Li’s mother who was holding a shield around them. Suzaku knocked her into a wall allowing him an easy path to Li and Sakura.
Suzaku fixed his eyes on the card mistress, suddenly everything speeded up and Suzaku appeared in front of Sakura.
“SWORD RELEASE!”
A bright light covered the room, there was a scream followed closely back a cry of pain.
Once the bright light had dimmed out there was a long silence, which was broken by the sound of crying. Sakura crying.
Li lay in a pool of blood with Suzaku’s sword directly though his heart. Li was dead.
***************** end of dream
As Li’s mother brought herself back to reality she found Sakura on her knees crying.
Li’s mother kneeled down beside her and put her hand on her cheek.
“I don’t want you to cry anymore Sakura”

“But Li die’s trying save me.”

“I know, but crying will not help to prevent it. Have you told anyone about this dream?”

“No, I was going to tell Li but I thought it would upset him.”

“It would upset him. Please don’t tell anyone about your dream as it could lead to other dangers”

They pause for a moment.

“Sakura, I know you have deep feelings for my son so do you think you or I would let anything happen to him”

Sakura smiles,” No never”

She puts Sakura into a dreamless sleep and carries her back to her room.

Suzaku lurked in the trees watching
Sakura sleep peacefully.

“So this girl dislikes nightmares?”
Dream.

Sakura is in the temple wearing her nightdress.
Sakura starts to worry,(thinking) “Oh no I thought this was suppose to be dreamless sleep”

Suddenly Suzaku appears floating in front of her.

“Nice to see you again Card Mistress.”

“What do you want Suzaku?”

“Your cards and Clow Reed.”

“I’ve tried to tell you, Clow Reed is…”

“I don’t want your excuses child give me the cards! SHOT CARD RELEASE!”

Shot chases after Sakura and unfortunately for Sakura she doesn’t have her cards.

“Suzaku please listen to me Clow Reed died centuries ago!”

“I grow tiered of your lies, ENOUGH! WOOD CARD RELEASE! BRING THE CHILD TO ME!”

Sakura’s attempt to run away was pitiful and so wood trapped her in a number of knots.
Suzaku floated down to Sakura.

“SWORD CARD RELEASE!”

“WHY CAN’T YOU UNDERSTAND?!”
Sakura struggled to free herself from the tight branches but was unable to move.

Sakura didn’t realise what happened next she just felt a sting.
Sakura awoke screaming.

Madison and Kero arrived quickly and were shocked by what they saw.

Sakura lay on her bed covered in blood. She shrieked in pain loudly. Suzaku had cut her all over her body open.

“SOMEBODY HELP!” Madison shouted down the corridor.

Li was first on the scene but stood in total shock as he entered the room.

“W…what…I S Sakura!”
Li watch over Sakura all night long, he wouldn’t move and couldn’t be moved.

Sakura slept peacefully as she lay bandaged up in Li’s room. Li’s mother had stopped her from bleeding to death using special healing skills only known to the Clan.
Sakura awoke at noon the next day she was alone. As she is slow it took her a few minutes to realise where she was. She noticed the green scarf she had made for Li all them years ago. She sat up and felt the pain from the many cuts on her body.
Sakura thought to her self as she walked over to the mirror to examine the cuts on her arms,
“How could I have let this happen? I came here to defeat Suzaku not to be cut to pieces.”
She pulled the sleeves down realising that she was wearing Li’s pyjama she blushes.
The door opens slowly it was Li’s mother.
“Sakura, how are you?”

“Much better thank you.”

“I am glad. You gave everyone quite a scare last night.”

“Oh did I? Oh no I hate worrying people.” Sakura looks upset and puts her head down.

“Sakura it’s alright besides it’s not your fault, it was Suzaku’s was it not?”

“Yeah it was. He won’t listen to me I’ve tried so hard to tell him Clow Reed is dead but he doesn’t believe me.”

“Talking will not resolve the problem.”

“Suzaku try’s to take the cards every time but some always ends up getting hurt.”

“Well I guess it is lucky that Yue and Cerberus have located the artifact.”

Sakura smiles, “Really? Where is it?”

“Not now Sakura. For now I want you to concentrate on recovering completely before you go running off.”

Li enters the room.

“I’m I interrupting?”

“Not at all Li” Li’s mother leaves.

“Er…Sakura I’ve got some stuff for you to change your bandages.”

“Oh thank you Li. Oh and thanks for watching over me last night!”

“How did you know?”

“I felt you here.”

Li looks ridiculously embarrassed.

“If you need anything just give me a call ok Sakura?”

“Sure, actually could you help me by taking that bandage of my back? I’m not very good when it comes to things like this!”

Li is so red he matches a red pepper!
“Er…well I don’t know”

“You don’t have to if you don’t wanna.”

“No, I’ll be fine. Here take a seat.”

She sits with her back to him. She had to remove her top so her could take the bandage off.
(Authors note: Don’t worry there won’t be any hanky panky in this fanfic!”)
As he peeled the bandage off he was shocked by the size and the amount of cuts there were. He cleaned the wounds with antiseptic. (as we all know is horrible!) Sakura hated it so much Li let her squeezes one of his hands as he did it.
“Oh my god she’s strong!” Li thought to himself as the circulation of his hand was nearly cut off.
After Li put the bandage on she pulled her top back down.
“Thanks Li! I feel much better now.”

“No problem. Please rest, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow. And I don’t want anything bad to happen to you.”

Sakura smiles, “Oh don’t worry, I’ll be fine.”
She gives him a hug, he wraps his arms around her.
It was 5am when Sakura was rudely awakened by Kero closely followed by Madison and a rather familiar camera.

As the trio entered one of the many lounges they found Yue and Li’s mother doing some sort of location finder. A small light moved across the map and stopped.
“We have found it.” Yue stated.

“Found what?” said a rather grumpy Li as he entered the room.

“The location of the artifact, my son.” Li’s mother replied.

“So where is it?” Kero questioned the pair.

“….., it will take us a while to get there so hurry and prepare yourselves.”

Madison, Sakura and Li hurry off to get ready while Kero, Yue and Li’s mother talk.
(Authors note: sorry I keep calling her ‘Li’s Mother’ I can’t remember er name!)
Yue turns to face her, “Do you believe Sakura is ready for this?”

Kero frowned at this. “Do you not think she can do it?”

“Maybe not, Sakura does not approve of hurting people never mind killing them.” Yue scowled.

“Yue, Cerberus. I believe that Sakura will find her own way of handling Suzaku and it might not nesscersery mean destroying him.” Li’s mother had a strange feeling about this mission, something unexpected was about to happen.
Hours later the group made their way up a steep mountainside. Sakura admired the feeling the mountain gave her of a cool, refreshing mountain breeze with a delightful scent of pine and moist grass. The sound of a nearby stream smoothly trickling down the steep slope relaxed her, it was a beautiful setting.
Sakura’s mini heaven was erased when Kero noticed the temple entrance, which appeared to be a small cave entrance, it was barely noticeable.

Madison had made Sakura another outfit, (What’s new there?!) however it was a lot more sophicated and smart. Beige shorts and matching top with a white vest underneath finally black lace-up boots that came up just under her knee.
(Author’s note: If you’ve ever played Tomb Raider Legend you’ll understand the outfit description.)

One by one they entered the cave leaving Sakura and Li still stood outside.
Sakura was extremely nervous as she knew what could happen if Li went in there, she looked away sadly. She felt Li’s hands touch her shoulders and turned around to face him.
“Sakura you can do this, you can defeat Suzaku and I’ll always protect you.”

“Promise?”

“I promise.”

“And promise you won’t ever leave me.”

“Of course I’ll promise to that, why would I ever leave you?”

Sakura didn’t reply, instead she and Li walked into the cave hand in hand.

As they caught up with the other they had come into an opening, which seemed very familiar to Sakura and Li’s Mother. It was in fact a beautiful temple, emerald green stonework covered the walls, floor and ceiling engraved with symbols and images. There were monuments lined up against the walls, each old and rotten. There was a grave that stood out more than the others, it was large and decorated with Chinese signs telling of Takamoto-San the great warrior who once slaughtered the dragons of ancient China and saved many lives. The group approached the ivory coloured tomb slowly.

“This is it!” Kero exclaimed to the others.

“So what is this artifact?” Madison asked turning her camera toward Kero and Yue.

Yue walked up beside Sakura, who was stood by the grave. He gripped the lid of the tomb and threw it down on the ground. Sakura was in total shock as she’d never seen the remains of a dead person before.

Everyone gathered around the open tomb and looked inside. Takamoto’s skeleton held a magisifint sword, even Li’s mother had never seen anything like it before.
This beautiful sword was black and had a graceful curl in the middle, which had the most unusual silver pattern that seemed to flow to the double pointed tip.
“I didn’t mention that this sword is Excalibur did I?” Yue quietly said as everyone examined it.

“How can this be?” Li questioned.

“King Arthur was a very good friend of Clow Reed’s. Although legend says that it was thrown to the Lady in Lake it was left in Clows care until he died and passed it to Takamoto.”

Sakura reached into the grave and carefully removed the sword from Takamoto’s grip. Sakura didn’t remember seeing the sword in hear visions, maybe this magical sword would save their lives.
A sudden bang rang around the room causing the walls to crack and begin to crumble. Suzaku appeared floating opposite the group.

“I have found you Card Mistress and now you’ll die along with your friends.”

“Suzaku listen to me there is no need to fight, Clow Reed is dead!” Kero shouted at him.

“Another liar. You will die too. SHOT CARD RELEASE! SAND CARD REALEASE!”

Kero and Yue took on the shot card preventing it from getting to their master the sand card surprised them by taking the from underneath.

Sakura acted quickly “WATER CARD RELEASE!”
The water hit the sand making the group sink faster however Sakura called another card.

“FREEZE CARD RELEASE!”

The ice froze the water and the sand, Sakura  grabbed Excalibur and tapped the ice lightly. The ice shattered toward Suzaku knocking him against the wall.

Sakura ran to Madison.

“Madison please stay out of sight and stay safe!”

Madison hugged her quickly, “Take care.”

Madison ran for safety, while Sakura, Li and his mother faced Suzaku.
Suzaku recovered and returned to his feet, anger filled his eyes.
“How dare you attack me child!”
His attention was suddenly drawn to Yue and Kero who had nearly defeated the shot card.
“WOOD CARD RELEASE! CAPTURE THE TWEO GARDIANS!”
It was pointless for the two to fight against the wood, they were tied so tight they could barely blink!
“No this can’t happen, not this, not my vision!” Sakura thought desperately

“Sakura, you can do this.”

Sakura turned as Li’s mother was being taken by the wood. But she didn’t try to escape she just smiled at Sakura.

“Don’t worry Sakura, it will not happen. Not if you and my son become one.” And with that she vanished into the wood.

“Mother?” Li looked hurt, but he wouldn’t give up not now.

“Li, do you understand what she meant?”

“That we could become…one because we’re..we’re…”

“…soul mates.” Sakura finished for him.
She looked deep into his eyes, he had known all along just she had but both were too shy to say anything.

“How would we do that?” she asked quietly.

“I’m not sure, all I know is that we’ll merge together.”

“L..Li I knew this whole time we were meant to be but I was just too….you know…I’m just a little scared.”

Suzaku laughed evilly, “There’s nothing you can do now Card Mistress. I will now take your life!”

Li turned back to Sakura, “I’ll be scared with you, remember my promise? I’ll never leave you!”

They kissed passionately. A bright pure light shone from within their hearts filling the room and blinding Suzaku. Together Sakura and Li became an amazing being. This beautiful being took up Excalibur and of course Madison had come out of her hiding place to film!

The being who was neither Li or Sakura knew it’s mission. It found it’s target Suzaku.

Suzaku stared in astonishment, “This can not be happening. It is impossible!”

“You are not worth of holding such important cards. And it is of your own fault that you must die!” The being spoke heavenly almost like some sort of angel.

Suzaku screamed out in horror “Excalibur! No! You cannot do this to me! STORM CARD RELEASE!”

Storm cards attack bounced away from this god like being and back on to Suzaku. He hit the floor again

“SWORD CARD RELEASE! Prepare to die!” Suzaku pointed his sword at the being

“At least if I die, I will die with honour!” the being replied.

The two charged at each other, neither took their eyes off each other.

Sakura and Li spoke to each other.
“Li I love you!”

“I love you to Sakura!”

Li, Sakura lay side by side, hand in hand.
Suzaku also lay a couple o metres away.
Excalibur  was nowhere to be seen.
The small bruning lights dimmed out and the little bit of sunlight that shone through the entrance soon  disapeared, the temple was sat in darkness.
There wasn't a single noise, scent or anything.  Just darkness.

Is this the end?

Maybe not......

Sakazu raised the sword up in the air and leaped toward sakura. Sakura quickly jumped out of the way in time to dodge the attack.

"Why are you doing this!" sakura asked. Sakazu came out of the shadows. He appeared to be tall teenager about the age of 17 with brown curly hair and had small oval shaped brown eyes. He was wearing a dark red outfit similiar to Li's but it also had the original clow symbol on his.

"The reason I'm doing this is to have my revenge on Clow Reed and his cards thinking they could ever beat my Sakazu cards! I will prove that I am just as powerful as he ever was!" Sakazu yelled.

Meanwhile Li, Yue and Cerberus rushed over to sakura's house as fast as they could. "What Clow Cards do you think Sakazu copied?" Li asked. "We are not really sure, we will just have to wait and see when we get there."

Li was the first to notice the purple shield over Sakura's house. "Over There!" he yelled. The all landed and saw sakura in shock. "Sakura!" Li yelled. Sakura yelled "Help me!, I don't know what to do? I can't attack the clow cards." Li tried to break through the shield but the magic was to strong. Cerberus and Yue tried to break through but couldn't.

Sakazu just laughed and said "Ha, no one can break through my shield. You must surrender to me now!"

"Never!" Sakura yelled. "Fine have it your way!" Sakazu yelled. "Fiery finish her off!" The dark Fiery was about to finish her off when suddenly all the Sakura Cards created a shield around Sakura.

"This can't be!" Sakuzu yelled. "How?" Sakura opened her eyes and saw the cards protecting her. "Thank you!" Sakura said. I know what I must do now sakura thought. I must defeat these fakes in order to end this.

"Come on Sakazu! You can't beat the original Clow Cards." Sakura said. Sakazu replied " We'll just see about that!"

"Release!" they both yelled. Sakazu made the first attack, "Watery" the dark watery came out and headed straight to sakura. Sakura defended herself by calling out,  "Windy" the windy card quicly defeated the dark watery card. Sakazu then called out, "Fight" the fight dark fight card started a jump kick  toward sakura. Sakura quickly replied by using, "Shield" the shield card was able to block the attack.

I have to think of something that could end this, sakura thought. Then it came to her, "Void release and banish the sakuzu cards for good!" The void card created a bubble around Sakazu and destryed his cards. Sakuzu yelled out, "No!, how could this happen?" The Shield card disappeared and sakura's friends came running up to her. Cerberus asked, " Are you all right?" Sakura replied with a thumbs up. Sakuzu got up and Li was about to attack but Sakura held him back.

Sakazu said "I am sorry for all the trouble I have caused you. In the end I guess my copies could't defeat the original clow cards." Sakura said "It's all right, I'm just glad everything turned out well." Sakuzu waved goodbye and left. The battle was over and everthing returned to normal.

                                              The End
Written by Jennifer O:

With nothing but her wand and her cards to defend her Sakura stood limp within the shielded area across from the scraggly Suzaku. It was his appearance that scared Sakura the most; the nefarious Suzaku stood taller than anyone Sakura had ever seen before, he had an unkempt grooming with long curly hair and beard that touched the ground, and he carried a staff similar to Clow Reed’s only it was completely black. Draped in a tattered brown cloak and hair all over his face was almost completely hidden that is except his eyes, his intense blue eyes were the only colorful thing on his entire body, but they shown with such intensity that it almost seemed like he was staring straight through Sakura directly into her soul rendering her completely immobile.

“Well,” Barked Suzaku at the cowering Sakura, “tell me where Clow Reed is.” Suzaku pointed the sword at Sakura, slipped it under her chin, and lifted it up so they could now see each other eye to eye.

Intimidated by Suzaku’s hypnotic gaze Sakura turned her head away from him slightly and answered, “I told you Clow Reed died a long time ago, why is it that you seek revenge on him?”

“You insolent girl!” Suzaku used the flat end of the sword to smack Sakura across the face as she fell to the ground. “Clow Reed cannot be dead! I can still sense his cards in this world, so tell me where is he!”

Sakura, now seriously scared, brought herself back up on her feet and timidly replied, “I’m not lying Clow Reed really did die a long time ago. The reason you can still sense his cards is because after Clow passed away I became the new master of his cards.”

“You the new master of Clow’s cards? Impossible! It was supposed to be Clow that I battle. Even in death he spites me by robbing me of my revenge. All this time sealed up in that book.”

“Sealed in a book,” Sakura daringly questions.

“Yes, unfortunately the last time Clow and I battled he not only won but he sealed me up in my own Suzaku book. All that time I spent in my own book plotting my revenge on him, and what better revenge than to defeat him and take his card. Just a little over two years ago I was released from my book finally and that’s when I began to rebuild my strength and wait for the perfect time to attack, now that time has finally come and my opponent turns out to be a child. No matter, if I cannot defeat Clow himself who better than the person he entrusted his cards to, and with Clow dead there will be nothing he can do after I put you to waste.”

Sakura brought her wand up in front of her, but the wand shook in her hands. She looked down to see that her hands were trembling. Never before had she’d been so scared, no one had ever threatened her life before and she didn’t know how to react to it. Furthermore it seemed Suzaku had his own version of every one of her cards, so how would she fight back.

“What are you waiting for,” Suzaku spoke out now breaking the silence, “If you won’t make the first move I will! Watery Rele – “

“Sakura,” a voice screamed out before Suzaku could release his version of the watery.

“Li,” Sakura screamed out as she ran to the wall of the shield in the direction of Li. Li ran to the outer wall of the seal when he realized it’s presence.

“Sakura, this evil presence I’m sensing could it be that man,” Li asked Sakura with both hands pressed up against the shield.

“Yes, it is. It seems this man, I mean Suzaku, seeks revenge on Clow Reed,” Sakura responded.

“Sakura, release the shield so I can come in and help you. This Suzaku guy is very powerful; you’ll need all the help you can get.

“I would if I could, but this shield wasn’t put up by me, Suzaku did it. It seems somehow he has his own version of Clow cards.”

“What? Impossible, how can there be another set of Clow Cards?”

“Enough,” Suzaku thundered in “our battle will not be interrupted! Dark, release and dispel!” In an instant what looked like the Dark spirit released from Suzaku’s card, however, the Dark Sakura knew was warm spirit that resembled this a heavenly women draped in black garmets, the Dark that Sakura was now faced with was a haggard witch like, red eyed woman in Dark’s clothes. The shielded area began to be covered in darkness.

“Sakura,” Li called as Sakura began to be covered in darkness.

“Li,” Sakura called back just before Li completely vanished from her vision. Now all that was left was Suzaku and herself in darkness.

“Now no one will interfere with our fight.” Suzaku spoke with an insidious smile on his face.

For a moment Sakura was comforted by Li’s presence by her side, but now she was all alone with Suzaku again.

“No,” Sakura thought to herself, “I don’t like this feeling. I don’t like this darkness. I need to make it light again.”

Sakura pulled the light card out, threw it up and the air, and called, “Light card, Release and Dispel! LIGHT!” A few seconds passed and nothing happened. Frantic Sakura called out again “LIGHT! Release!” after a few moments she called again, “LIGHT,” but still nothing happened.

Suzaku began to cackle at Sakura’s struggle. “You can call the Light card as many times as you want, but I assure you no light will come. Your Clow Cards are frightened by my Suzaku cards.”

“But,” Sakura spoke in a whisper, “they aren’t Clow Cards anymore I transformed them all into Sakura Cards, so that should mean something shouldn’t it?”

“Clow Cards, Sakura Cards it doesn’t matter my Suzaku Cards are stronger than anything you can throw at me I promise you that.”

“This can’t be,” Sakura thought to herself, “what can I do?” Given no time to think this over Suzaku made his first move of attack.

“Firey Release and dispel!” A red eyed vampire like version of the fire spirit came at Sakura.

“Fly!” Sakura called out but again nothing happened. Given no time to try and again Sakura began to run through the darkness as Suzaku’s Firey spirit pursued her. With the Firey still quick on her pursuit Suzaku to make another attack maneuver.

“Earthy release and dispel!”

As Sakura continued to run trees began to sprout all around her in her path make it hard for her to keep her distance from Suzaku’s firey. The sprouting foliage not only created an obstacle for Sakura, but the pursuing Firey burned all the trees in its path creating smoke that made it hard for Sakura to breathe. As Sakura avoided the trees and coughed from the smoke her pace slowed. Sakura collapsed on the ground as she tried desperately to breathe.

“You the new master? Laughable! Clow Reed was a worthy adversary, but you hardly compare. I cannot believe Clow Reed entrusted his cards to the likes of you.” Suzaku approached the weakened Sakura sneering.

“Wood, Release and dispel!” Suzaku’s wood spirit created vines that strapped and bound her limbs suspending her off the ground similar to how wood card had bound her during the final judgment against Yue.

“Sword Card, Release and Dispel!” His staff transformed into the Sword Card once more. He casually placed the sword against Sakura’s neck. “I thought defeating you would make up for the fact that I couldn’t be the one to bring Clow to his end, but you’ve disappointed me. You are only girl after all, but still for Clow to have entrusted his cards to you, you had to have at least some talent. Well, then if this is all you can do then you deserve to die. When you make it to the afterlife tell Clow his cards are in good hands.” With Sakura nearing her end it seems Suzaku has won.

Meanwhile on the outside of the shield Yue and Kero finally make it to the scene. Meeting up with Li still waiting on the outside, he updates Yue and Kero on what had happened so far.

“As we feared,” Kero responded with a worried expression his face, “ Suzaku has returned still seeking revenge on Clow.”

“Who is this Suzaku,” Li questioned.

“Suzaku was one of Clow’s fiercest rivals. Though it was funny the two used to be friends. Clow taught him everything he knew, but I guess Suzaku got jealous of Clow’s magical talent and tried to defeat him. Back when Clow was still creating the Clow Cards Suzaku coppied the first 15 and tried to defeat Clow, but Clow used the strength of his other Cards to seal Suzaku in his own book of Suzaku Cards fashioned after Clow’s. However, since Sakura became the new master after the time the last Clow Card was transformed into a Sakura Card all of Clow’s magical powers vanished from this world and the seal on the book must have broken. Suzaku most likely waited to build his strength and for time when myself and Keroberos had left Sakura’s care to take his revenge,” Yue explained.

“As it stands now there’s nothing we can do for Sakura, she’s trapped in Suzaku’s shield so she’s on her own, but if she can realize that Suzaku only coppied 15 of Clow’s cards she can use her other cards to defeat him. She just needs to realize it,” Kero responded now worried for Sakura safety.

“And what happens if she doesn’t realize it,” Li questioned.

“Then we’ll all have a real problem on our hands trying to stop Suzaku, that and if Suzaku defeats Sakura he’ll not only have his cards he’ll have the power of all Sakura’s Sakura Cards. He’ll be almost impossible to stop. Let’s hope Sakura figures it out,” Kero responded as they all stared desperately back at the shielded darkness.

Bound by the now tightening vines of Suzaku’s Wood Sakura had all but lost hope. Tears began to stream down her face as she thought about her family and friends she may never be able to se again. As her tears fell one of her cards began to glow with an intense light. Suzaku stepped back a little from the brightness of Sakura’s card perplexed at what it might be. The light from Sakura’s Card consumed her in a bright void. Sakura was now alone with the card that had finally showed itself to be the Hope Card.

“Sakura,” The card spoke out to her, “you mustn’t lose hope.”

“But,” Sakura whimpered tears still pouring down her face, “there’s nothing I can do. All of my cards are too scared to face him. I’m really alone right now.”

“You’re not alone,” The Hope Card assured her, “we all want to help you Sakura but if you don’t believe you can we can’t believe we can. Don’t cry Sakura everything will be alright. You have something that Suzaku doesn’t have, your unbeatable spell. You love unconditionally, trust with out a doubt, and have phenomenal courage. Believe you can and you will, and love not only all your cards but his too. For cards that have never known love before you may be able to heal the heart of man who feels as though love has betrayed him. Remember this Sakura and you can’t lose.”

The bright returned to darkness and the Hope Card stopped glowing. Sakura was once gain strapped down by vines face to face with Suzaku. The Hope Card had given her new found courage. She wanted to try again only this time she knew she could win. Suzaku began to raise his sword again, but he stopped when Sakura began to move her hand.

“So you think you can still fight? You can try but you’re efforts will prove futile. This fight is over,” Suzaku said.

“No, it’s not,” Sakura said in response, “I knew I felt it before, but I’m sure of it now. You’re cards are hurting Suzaku and so are you. Give me a chance I can heal them. Windy, push these vines away from my body and create an air passage for me to slip out,” Sakura called out.

“It’s no use it –“ Suzaku started but stopped when the Windy spirit actually did release from Sakura’s card.

“Impossible,” Suzaku whispered as Sakura slipped out of the vines.

“Suzaku, if you aren’t happy, if you’re in pain your cards will be too. You’ll never be as powerful as you want to be if you don’t believe in and love your cards. If you’re hateful towards others your cards will be hateful too. Those aren’t the kinds of cards Clow wanted to create that’s why he sealed you away,” Sakura spoke out triumphantly.

“Shut up! Stop talking,” Suzaku screamed out, “Wat – “ but before Suzaku could summon the water spirit Sakura made an attack of her own.

“Bubble Card, wrap Suzaku’s staff and book of cards into an impenetrable bubble.”

The Bubble spirit surrounded Suzaku’s staff and book in a bubbled that floated away from him and towards Sakura.

“I don’t understand, how could this happen? Why?” Suzaku questioned looking perplexed and defeated.

“Suzaku, you and Clow were close once weren’t you,” Sakura asked.

Suzaku stared back looking surprised.

“You were probably friends right? Suzaku, you were an important person to Clow too. You always were. He never hated you and he wanted you to understand that. You should lover first and not hate. Clow couldn’t get you to understand that, so that’s why he had to seal you away, but all the while he always regretted having to take those measures. I bet even when he passed on he thought about you,” Sakura walked towards Suzaku and took his hand, “If you let me I can heal your heart so you can love again, I can be your friend like Clow was.”

“But, Clow is gone now,” Suzaku responded as tear trickled down his face, “Do you suppose I’ll ever see him again?” As Suzaku said this he began to fade away. As Suzaku disappeared his book and staff fell from the bubble and turned to dust.

Sakura now alone responded to Suzaku’s question, “I’m sure you will see Clow again, and he’ll be glad to see you.” In an instant the Darkness and shield relinquished, and Sakura was now facing Li, Kero, and Yue.

“Sakura,” The three called in unison as they ran to Sakura’s side.

“Are you alright,” Li asked her.

“I’m fine, thought I was a little scared all the while,” Sakura responded glad to be in her friends presence again.

“What a relief, so you were able to figure it out after all,” Kero responded.

“Figure it out,” Sakura questioned.

“Yea, figure out that Suzaku only had replicas of 15 of Clow’s original cards so you had to use the ones he didn’t have.”

“He only had 15,” Sakura said surprised.

“You mean you didn’t realize it,” Kero asked as surprised as Sakura.

“Um,’ Sakura stuttered sheepishly, “I guess not.”

“I guess not! You mean to tell me you basically just lucked out! You’re suppose to be the master of the Cards for cripes sake,” Kero exploded.

“But, I didn’t luck out Kero,” Sakura responded,”thanks to the Hope Card was able to bring out the real the strength of my cards and defeat Suzaku, the only thing I don’t understand is that after I defeated Suzaku he disappeared.”

“Suzaku’s body must have passed on all that time he was sealed in the book after you defeated him you must have finally realeased his sprit,” Yue answered.

“I’m glad though,” Sakura said,”Suzaku is finally able to be happy now just like Clow was when he was alive and just like I am now. I’m greatful to have you guys and the cards.”

With Suzaku finally put to rest Sakura and her friends rest for the night greatful to have each other and the love that bonds them all together.

Written by Melissa S:

It read, “I'm here for your book and your cards! I want revenge!”

Sakura: What does this mean?

Sakura quietly walked across her room, grabbing the Sakura Book off the desk, still glowing red, and looked out the window, where she saw a figure in the shadows.

Sakura: Who are you?

Suzaku: I am the greatest magician of all time, and have come to settle the score! My Suzaku Cards are stronger than Clow Reed's cards ever were! Now get him down here!

Sakura: But Clow Reed isn't here, he died a long time ago, and..."

Suzaku: Enough!  WINDY, RELEASE! Blow her out of that house and down here now!

The strange figure in shadow threw out a card and hit it with his staff, similar to how Li use to do it all those years ago with his sword.

Sakura: It looks like my Windy Card, but darker with red eyes, could this be the evil double? AHHH!

Sakura was swept out of the house and landed in the bushes below.

Sakura: I don't know who you are, but Clow Reed isn't here.  I'm Sakura and these cards are mine now!

Suzaku: I don't care, I'm going to defeat Clow Reed's cards no matter what, and so no one will disturb us, SHIELD CARD, RELEASE!

A huge light purple bubble surrounded the entire block where Sakura's house was.  At that instant, Li suddenly woke up from his sleep with fear in his eyes, never feeling such an evil presence before.  Kero and Yue also both sensed something was wrong immediately.

Kero: I know that presence but after all this time?

Yue: I feared this day would come, Suzaku must have known we weren't there.  We must hurry back now!

Li’s mother: What is it?

Kero: only known to Yue and myself, back in the early days when Clow Reed was creating the Clow Cards, a magician known as Suzaku Sombra cast a very ancient spell, to copy all of Clow Reeds cards at the same time, making his own duplicate cards, with the same magic powers and everything. Oh no, SAKURA!!!

Suzaku: "Now we finish this, SWORD CARD, RELEASE!"

Meanwhile Yue and Kero flew as fast as they could to help Sakura

Kero: C’mon Yue we gotta go faster.

Yue: Im going as fast as I can.

Sakura was hiding behind a bush.

Sakura (to herself): How could that be???? I have the sword Card. If I do then how come he has it?

Just as Sakura was about to look at the cards she noticed The Shield, The Windy, and The Sword card disappearing  before her very own eyes!

Sakura: Whaat?

Sakura brings out her staff and quickly says her chant.

Sakura: Watery! Surround Suzaku and create a storm.

But as she found out that Watery did not attack Suzaku instead when the card hit his staff it  turned all dark and began to head towards Sakura’s way and attack her!

Sakura: Oh! No what just happened???

Suzaku: Ha ha ha! Watery is now one of my Suzaku cards not yours anymore!

Sakura: What! how could you do that?

Suzaku: Ha! That’s for me to know. Now I shall defeat
